Home safely from FilKONtario. Well, not exactly home; I'm at my office taking care of a few details. Turns out there weren't that many details to take care of after all, so I probably could have stayed for the dead-dog filk -- but then I probably wouldn't be getting in until about 2 or 3 a.m., as I probably wouldn't be leaving till around, oh, now; and I have a number of workish calls to make tomorrow at some reasonable point. That's the nature of workish transitions, when you're finishing up doing the old job and taking on the duties of the new job simultaneously. Next year, I shall stick around.

A full, likely multiple-post and obsessively-detailed-because-I-tend-to-do-that account of the weekend shall ensue. Till then: Highly refreshing; a weekend I needed. For those of you among the f-list I saw this weekend, spending time with you was its usual delight. I'll see some of you again at the Erin-Rand wedding, others at Confluence and/or OVFF and/or maybe Marcon. (Up in the air at this point.)
